OUR FITNESS CLASSES
Here at Fitness For Life we welcome everyone, regardless of what level you're starting at. It’s all about your individual journey. Get ready to have fun and get fit on your own terms. There are two classes you can choose to attend 'high intensity' or '60+' age group fitness classes. They focus on all over body toning, strength, fitness and flexibility and differ each week. The classes are designed to keep you motivated, they'll leave you feeling amazing and wanting to come back for more!

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
High Intensity Training
Our High Intensity Classes are designed to build strength and fitness. You can expect to work really hard and get hot and sweaty in a fun, inclusive environment with a bunch of positive and committed ladies. Every week the classes are new, exciting and different so there’s no chance of getting bored with your exercise sessions.
HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you go all-out, giving one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods. This type of training gets your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.
You will improve muscle tone, fat burning, strength building, endurance and cardio fitness fast. Each class is designed to work the upper body, lower body and core so it is an awesome full-body work out.
Our classes are intense, however they are suitable for novice exercisers and fitness enthusiasts alike. Classes can be modified to lower impact to suit those with injuries or those who are just beginning.
Expect to sweat during our classes. You will truly get out of it what you put in!
Core & More
Tight toned abs look amazing but rocking a beach bod isn’t the only reason to get your torso in shape. A strong core helps prevent injury and back pain and improves posture. Your core is about more than just your ab muscles it’s your body’s powerhouse.
Core and More classes are designed specifically with core strength in mind and there’s also plenty of cardio and other fun and challenging exercises to ensure a whole body work out.
Whether you're a novice taking the first steps toward fitness or a committed fitness fanatic wanting to optimise your results, our Core and More classes are the perfect addition to our High Intensity classes.
60+ Exercise
Physical activity is the number one contributor to longevity, even if you don’t start exercising until your senior years. Join our special group of 60+ Fitness for Lifers with lower intensity exercises and specifically designed programs to enhance mobility, flexibility and balance.
Metabolism naturally slows with age and maintaining a healthy weight can be a challenge. FFL classes help to increase metabolism and muscle tone, assisting you to burn more calories and increase mobility.
